Thank you for visiting our most important page. God tells us in the Bible that there is a place where neither "moth nor rust can destroy" or "thieves break in and steal" (Mt. 6:20). In other words, there is a purpose beyond this life and it is God's desire for you to obtain this Home that will last forever.
How Do I Purchase This Home?
That is a great question! The answer is pretty easy. God says if you simply live a perfect life and never sin (do anything less than perfect, or anything wrong like lie, cheat, etc.) then heaven is already yours! Well, if you're anything like me or the rest of the world, that's not too comforting since we have already messed up that requirement. God knows this and even tells us in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."
If being perfect is the only solution, this means that no one can be with God in heaven. The good news is that it's not the only way! God created mankind to have a relationship with him. However, being perfect, God cannot simply ignore sin. In fact, God being just, required innocent blood to be shed to reconcile sinful man to Himself. Initially, this was done through animals that appeared to be perfect like a pure white lamb. This system served to teach the people that their sins required a price - the price of a blood sacrifice that was perfect. The problem was that the blood of animals really could not take away the sins of people. Only a perfect human's blood could do that (see Hebrews 10:1-4).
In Steps Jesus!
Here is where the good news really gets good! With God being the only One perfect, but the blood of a perfect human being required, the solution was for God to become man. Jesus was born to a virgin (Mary), but was conceived supernaturally by the Spirit of God and not by a man. As God, He was perfect. As man, He made Himself subject to things we are subject to like pain, fear, sadness, sorrow, hunger, thirst, and even temptation. Having lived perfect without sin - here was a human that finally met the requirements to be our "Lamb", or our perfect sacrifice to pay for our sins!
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through Me." (John 14:6)
